About two or three months ago, I hit a stall and it was sort of driving me nuts. A lot of the reason why I hit a stall was because I started eating things that I hadn’t been eating in the beginning, and was getting tired of being limited, so I started eating almond flour and Lily’s chocolates and things like that.
I knew the weight was getting ready to come back on because I was having a lot of fantasies about major bingeing. I was trying to make plan for when I could be all alone and I could eat cake, pizza, or pizza AND cake and just go crazy on it. That’s definitely not a healthy way of thinking. I’ve done all of that thinking in the past, but anyway, I knew something was going on in my mind. Things weren’t working and I needed to make a change and so I did.
I discovered Intuitive Eating. What I incorporated into intuitive, mindful eating was making a shift about appreciating what I’ve already done for my body and the weight that I’ve lost, and then just loving it and treating it well. So, in the next video I’m going to share with you the things that I incorporated, the kind of guidelines I created for myself, and how things are working for me. Stay tuned for the next one and I’ll tell you about the first thing that I started doing differently and how I’m now my happy, healthy self!
