Hi, I’m Julie, I’m an intuitive eating, mindful eating, body acceptance coach. I just had this topic come up a day or so ago in a discussion board with coaches. What makes you unique or better. Why would somebody choose you over somebody else as a coach? And the first thing that came to my brain is because I’m me. Nobody else is me. Just me. My journey, my path, everything that’s happened in my life has led me to who I am, where I am and what I am right now, and nobody can touch that. I’m so me that I still have my clothes on that after a walk. I don’t have any makeup on. I’m me. This is me. It’s probably the only video you’re going to get that I didn’t get dressed up for and put decent clothes on, but I think it makes a point.
I’m me, I’m okay with that and that kinda makes me feel like a badass. And that’s good. I want you to feel that way too. I see a lot of people who think everything is going on around them, and as soon as any of that or everybody changes, then they’re going to change too. It doesn’t happen that way. It changes here first and then all that outside stuff. You’re you. You are your own unique self. Everything that’s happened to you on your journey, on your path has led you to where you are, who you are and what you are today. And darn it, that makes you a badass too. And you should feel that way.

It’s invigorating to feel that sense of power that I’m in control. I am totally in control. Whether it’s, what you’re eating or whatever, anything in your life. For me, it’s the eating. That’s where I focus because that’s been a difficulty for me. Don’t wait. Really! Don’t wait any longer. This is your life. This is you. This is your bad ass time. Don’t wait until your job gets better, until you move, until your boyfriend moves back in, until somebody likes you, whatever. Do it now. Once you become a badass, all those other things are going to fall right into place.
In my next video. I am going to share with you my food journey. I almost said food journal! I’ll share how I have struggled most of my life. Right now I want to share with you a song that I heard when I was on my walk today that made me think about this video.
